STUDENT (undergraduate) COMPETITION CALL FOR PAPERS              10th Annual Conference, San Francisco, California, April 1 -4, 2010                                             Track Chair: Professor Nitish Singh, St. Louis University, USA  (e-mail:  via adm@iaeb.net )

In order to encourage academic excellence, advanced studies, and research in e-business, the Academy invites submissions of research papers from undergraduate students for presentation at the 2010 Conference. Papers dealing with any aspect of e-business are welcome. Students are encouraged to prepare their papers according to the guidelines provided below and submit them to Professor Singh before December 1, 2009. LATE SUBMISSION MAY BE CONSIDERED.

Student submissions will go through a “blind” review process. The number of papers selected for presentation at the Conference on a competitive basis will be limited.

The Academy will nominate one undergraduate student paper for the “Best Student Paper Award,” and the winning paper will be published in the E-Business Review, a peer-reviewed publication of the Academy.

All participating students, who register and attend the conference, will receive a "Certificate of Participation." with their names, institutional affiliation, faculty advisor, project/ paper title, etc.

Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be sent out by December 15, 2009. Students whose papers have been accepted for presentation and who plan to attend the Conference must register before January 15, 2010, in order to be included in the program. All undergraduate students are eligible to register until January 15, 2010, at a special discounted rate of $295. Please use the Student Registration Form below to register.

Authors of “Best Undergraduate Student paper” will be required to send their final formatted papers no later than January 15, 2010, for publication in the E-Business Review. Authors of all other accepted student papers will submit a 150 words abstract for possible publication in the Conference Program.

Student Paper Submission Guidelines:

1. Please submit each student paper separately by e-mail as soon as possible, but no later than December 1, 2009, to Professor Nitish Singh via adm@iaeb.net and cc to: conference@iaeb.org with subject line "STUDENT PROPOSAL".  

2. Students whose paper is accepted for publication should carefully read “Author’s Guidelines” section on the web site to prepare their final manuscript.

3. For EACH author, include the full name (First name, Middle name or Initial, LAST NAME/SURNAME), organizational/school affiliation, physical address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc. Identify the contact person in case of multi-authors proposal as well as the faculty advisor and his/her email and other details. 

4. All submissions are subject to established guidelines and policies, which the IAEB may change any time without any notice.

5. Visit the Website periodically for announcements, guidelines, travel and hotel information, conference registration forms, etc.

Only the UNDERGRADUATE students who participate in the STUDENT COMPETITION are eligible for this low, discounted conference fee of $295. The payment of this fee entitles the registrant to attend all the conference paper presentations - but NOT the formal social events, such as receptions and luncheons; the fee does, however, include refreshments at several session breaks. Each student registrant will receive an ELECTRONIC COPY of the E-Business Review, Volume X, consisting of all the papers selected by the reviewers for publication - including the best student papers. All student paper presenters and attendees MUST register. The registration fee is nonrefundable and not transferable. . The IAEB reserves the right to alter any policy without notice.

2. ADD (if applicable): US$50 for EACH EXTRA page for publication in the E-Business Review beyond the limit of 4 pages.All manuscripts accepted for publicationare subject to this charge.)
