THE E-BUSINESS REVIEW: GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

(PLEASE NOTE: For consistency follow closely these instructions/guidelines closely to prepare your manuscript for publication. If you fail to do so, it may not be published.)

TITLE: 14 POINTS FONT, TIMES NEW ROMAN, BOLD, ALL CAPITAL LETTERS (no italics, no underlines. Just short, one or two lines, centered, See example above)

AUTHOR(S): See example above. Single spaced and centered. Start right below title, Font- 10 points, regular, Times New Roman. Include ONLY the First name, Middle initial, Last Name; Institutional Affiliation; Country; and E-Mail. (Absolutely no degrees, no academic ranks or job titles such as doctor or professor; only one line per author; if any, list the second author on the next line, third author on the next, and so on.. See example above.)

ABSTRACT: Begin your manuscript with an abstract of about 100 words, providing an overview of your research objectives, methodology, findings, etc. Use ABSTRACT as heading -- left flushed, triple-spaced below the paper title and authors information.

FONT TO USE: (everywhere except the title) Times New Roman, 10 point, regular, no ITALICS.

CAPITAL LETTERS: Only in the title, headings, subheadings, or based on grammatical rules.

BOLD: Only the title, headings, subheadings; no where else.

SPACING: Everywhere single (only between paragraphs “double.” No exceptions.)

MARGIN: 1” (inch) top, bottom, sides. (2 ½ centimeters)

SHEET SIZE: 8 ½ X 11 inches or nearest size (NO LEGAL size)

PAGE LIMIT: All manuscripts are limited to FOUR (4) pages, including bibliography, appendix, etc. (There will be a charge of $50 for each additional page which must be paid with your submission. Your manuscript will not be published if you fail to pay for additional pages.)

SOFT WARE: MS Word 2000 or later (mandatory in electronic submissions on diskettes, CDs, online, etc. We are not equipped to open with any other program.)

INDENTION: None – not even headings, subheadings, paragraphs. Start at left margin. (Exception: title)

TABLES AND FIGURES: Place tables and figures close to where they are cited, and they should be high quality and camera-ready. They should be left-flushed and have proper numbering, headings and other notations.

CITATIONS AND REFERENCES: Cite only very few important sources and list them in alphabetical order (first author’s last name). Within your text, cite sources in parentheses. Example: (Kothari, 2000). Do not use footnotes in your text. Do not number references. Use“APA” style.

ITEMS TO SUBMIT

Submit the following items as soon as possible but no later than the submission deadline of January 15, 2009:

1. Conference registration form

2. Registration fee (in US$ payable to the International Academy of E-Business.) Any submissions without registration fee will not be published or included in the program. See instructions for payments for remitting your fee.

3. Two CAMERA-READY hard-copies of your manuscript (supported by a piece of cardboard to prevent wrinkling)

4. Two CAMERA-READY hard-copies of your abstract (supported by a piece of cardboard)

5. Two copies of a cover sheet, containing your title, each author’s name, organizational affiliation, physical address, telephone & fax numbers, e-mail address, etc. (supported by a piece of cardboard)

6. A CD-RW containing an electronic file of your manuscript, a file of your abstract, and a file of your cover sheet in MS Word 2000 or later for Windows (Please make sure you diskette or CD is virus-free and contains no other files.)
